Jinxiang County
is located in the centre of Shangdong Southwest Plain,near
the beautiful Weishan Lake.To the north of it are the
yellow River and Mount Tai. To the east of it are the
hometowns of confucius and Meicious . It consists of
13 towns . The area is 885 square kilometres . The farmland
is 820,000 mu . The population is 600,000 . The roads
and the rivers here lead to all directions . Jinhu?￠Jingjiu?￠Longhai?￠Shixin
and the Jinghang lines all run through here. Jining
Airport which is to the north of Jinxiang , about 15
kms away is being enlarged . The climate here is mild

in 1992 , Jinxiang garlic got the top title among Chinese
white-skinned garlic . It is a silver prize In1996 ,
it was rewarded as the famous brand product of China
. In March,1996, Jinxiang county was given the name
of "the Hometown of Chinese Garlic" . In Oct
. 1996, It got Grade A Certificate of "Green Food
" . It is well-known that Chinese garlics are the
best in the world and Jinxiang garlic is the best in
China . Jinxiang garlic has been sold to 30 provinces
in China and 64 countries in the world. In recent year
, Jinxiang government has made a new strategical policy
that Garlic Agriculture should be shifted to Garlic
Industry . Depending on the famous brand product-Jinxiang
Garlic, Jinxiang people are trying their best to achieve
the goal that that Jinxiang people get rich depending

Besides Jinxiang garlic, a no-harm vegetable base
about 200,000 mu is also here . At present, 0.5 billion
kgs of vegetables are produced every year , such as
onions, celeries, cucumbers, capsicum and so on. There
are about 30 kinds. You can buy them in the markets
all through the year. American and Japanese onions are
introduced here. The planting area is about 100000 mu.
In 1996, Jinxiang was given the name of "the Hometown
of Chinese onions ". "Golden Corn " is
also produced here . Its colour is golden and bright
. The corn soup is very delicious . It was the tribute
in the Ming dynasty and the Qing dynasty . It is the
top of the four famous corns in China. It was recorded
in “Cihai”. In 1996, It was given the name of "the
Hometown of Chinese golden corn" by Agricultural
Department of China .
There are more-than1,000 industrial enterprises in
the whole county .The ten-industry system consists of
machinery, chemistry and industry, electrical machines,
winery, weaving, clothes and agricultural product procession.
Jinmanke electrical equipment Group, which is the largest
dry transformer producing factory, Shandong Jingui wine
Group , which is one of the 500 largest drink factories
and Shandong Jining Textile Group , Which joins cotton
collection, cotton procession, spinning and weaving,

and Hongkong all lie here. Jinxiang economy developing
